This example is to calculate pH value of sodium acetate/acetic acid buffer at different
conditions.
In main menu Click Popular services>Biotech/chemistry, then click pH buffer
calculator. Then give temperature of the buffer.
Figure 1. shows how to set up pH calculation condition. At this step, user
is to choose initial
state as Buffer solution (default), add no chemical in add chemical dropdown list
(default), and give pKa value=4.76 of the buffer. Then click Next step button to calculation
page

At calculation page, give either concentration ratio of final base vs final
acid, or final concentartion of acid and base, then click calculate button to see
the pH value determined. Figure 2 shows calculated result if only final concentration
ratio is given, and input final concentrations.
